A two-product kit for diesel particulate filter care. Use the foam directly in the DPF and the separate diesel additive in the fuel tank, following the product labels and your vehicle service requirements.

What is included

• 8101 DPF Foam Direct Cleaner, 400ml / 13.5 fl. oz. — for direct application to soot and carbon deposits in the filter.
• 808 DPF Purge Filter Diesel Additive, 500ml / 16.9 fl. oz. — a diesel fuel-tank treatment for DPF maintenance.

Foam application requires access through a suitable sensor port. Check compatibility and diagnose the cause of a warning light before treatment. Follow the vehicle manufacturer's regeneration procedure; a qualified technician may be needed. Cleaning does not repair physical filter damage or guarantee an emissions-test result.

How to Use MotorPower Care DPF Cleaning Kit

Step 1: Clean the DPF with 8101 DPF Foam Direct Cleaner

1️⃣ Locate the Upper Temperature or O2 Sensor – Identify the sensor on your vehicle’s DPF system.
2️⃣ Prepare the Vehicle – Ensure the engine is cold or slightly warm (60 seconds of idle from a cold start).
3️⃣ Access the DPF – Carefully remove the temperature or O2 sensor for direct access.
4️⃣ Apply DPF Foam Cleaner –

• Shake the MotorPower Care 8101 DPF Foam Cleaner (400ml / 13.5 fl. oz.) well.
• Insert the included nozzle into the DPF.
• Spray in short bursts, stopping every 5 seconds, until the can is empty.
  5️⃣ Let the Cleaner Work – Reinstall the sensor and allow the foam to sit for 20 minutes to dissolve carbon buildup.

Step 2: Optimize Regeneration with 808 DPF Purge Filter Diesel Additive

6️⃣ Add MotorPower Care 808 DPF Purge Filter Diesel Additive (500ml / 16.9 fl. oz.) – Pour the entire bottle into your diesel fuel tank.
7️⃣ Start the Vehicle & Begin Regeneration –

• If available, use a scanner to force manual regeneration.
• If no scanner is available, drive for 40 minutes on open roads, keeping RPM slightly higher to trigger natural regeneration.

Step 3: Repeat if Necessary

8️⃣ For severe DPF blockages, repeat the foam cleaning process up to 4 times, depending on contamination levels.
